The Food Service Department has a Point of Sale computer system that requires you to pay for your student's meals ahead of time. Your student will be given an account number that is also their school I.D. Number. You may deposit money into their account at any time. You may send in only one check or any amount of cash for all of your student's accounts. The full amount of the check will be deposited. The money will be divided equally unless you instruct otherwise. Please list all students on the check or on the lunch envelope. This account also gives you certain controls for monitoring their account. You may add certain restrictions i.e. lunch purchase only, no a la carte snacks or any allergies or milk intolerances etc. Please call Ashley Peters, Director of Dining Services at (810) 679-1526 to have any of these restrictions added to your student's account. You may also request a meal history that will tell you of your student's purchases and deposits. Your student's meal consists of their choice of entrée, one service of fruit, one service of vegetable, or two servings of fruit or two servings of vegetable, grain option and milk.
Students may charge up to 2 school lunches. If no payment has been received after the 2nd meal charge, the student will receive an alternative meal for lunch. The meal will consist of a peanut butter or ham sandwich, fruit and a carton of milk.
Cros-Lex Food Services Department is run by Chartwells and breakfast and lunch are available for purchase each day. (There is a free breakfast program available at all buildings.)
