The Croswell-Lexington School Board met on August 15 to review applicants for the superintendent position. The Board felt the candidate pool was excellent with 19 applicants and determined to interview four candidates for the position. The Board is being assisted in the search process by the Michigan Association of School Boards.
The interviews will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, at the Middle School Media Center. The public is encouraged to attend the interviews. The second round of interviews is planned for August 23.

4:30 p.m. Michael Domagalski, M.A., Principal, St. Clair Middle School in East China School District since 2017. Previously, he served as Director of Curriculum and Elementary Principal (four years) and social studies, math, and fifth-grade teacher (eight years) for East China Schools. He also taught middle school math for one year for Lakeview Community Schools.
5:30 p.m. Paul Flynn, Ed.S., Superintendent, Sandusky Community Schools since 2017. Previously, he served as High School Principal (seven years), HS Assistant Principal (nine years), and HS Language Arts Teacher (eight years) for Yale Schools.
7:00 p.m. Lisa McDill, M.A., Principal, Shelby Junior High in Utica Community Schools since 2011. Previously, she served as Associate Principal at Henry Ford II High School in Utica for five years. She also was an administrative intern and teacher in Utica for seven years.
8:00 p.m. Colette Moody, M.A., Principal, Frostick Elementary in Croswell-Lexington Community Schools since 2012. Previously, she served as a middle school teacher, primarily in math and language arts, for seven years for Cros-Lex. The Board expects to appoint a new superintendent to begin in September 2022.
