A big thank you to McKenzie Health System, Croswell EMS, and Lexington Police Department for visiting Meyer yesterday. Our 3rd Graders were informed on the importance of knowing how to call 911 and all the services that it provides. Our students participated in a mock medical emergency, from the initial injury, calling 911, speaking with the police, paramedic, nurse, and doctor. They even got to tour the ambulance. Thanks again to this great group of community helpers. 💙

Our Meyer 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Graders participated in Jump Rope for Heart this month. Students were able to collect donations for the American Heart Association. Congratulations to all students who participated. ❤️. Jump Rope for Heart is a program organized by the American Heart Association aimed at promoting physical activity among elementary school children. It encourages kids to engage in jump rope activities while raising funds to support heart health research and education initiatives. It’s a fun way for kids to stay active while also learning about the importance of heart health. 💙
